The Master of Science in Organizational Performance (MSOP) degree is offered in six distinct modules, allowing students to complete individual modules at their discretion – or all six to complete their master’s degree.
All six modules qualify for Applied Materials’ Internal Pathway options for credit-bearing continued learning credit and also qualify for tuition assistance.
Business Innovation & Efficiency – Best practices in learning how to help your organization succeed through creativity, imagination, and originality are covered in this module. Additional focus to developing your knowledge of how to eliminate inefficiencies, problem areas, and non-value added elements of the business will be provided.
Business Intelligence Essentials – How to combine the processes, technologies, systems, and capabilities of the business into useful and meaningful information is the focus of this course. Additional work in learning how to integrate key performance indicators into decision-making methodologies will be provided.
Performance Improvement – Competencies in the areas of performance management, business coaching, mentoring, and training are addressed in this module. The main concept centers around how to build knowledge, change, and talent management strategies within your business.
Predictive Analytics & Analysis – Acquiring the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to help the organization achieve its goals through the analysis of information and improving processes is addressed in this module. Further focus toward how to accumulate different types of information and then use that information to predict future organizational events will be provided.
Process Management & Scenario Planning – Learning how to apply the knowledge areas of business process management is the focus of this module. Additional work in learning how to apply what-if analysis and long-term contingency planning will be provided.
Project Management Essentials – Develop a baseline of knowledge, skills, and abilities associated with managing projects. Focus on ensuring you know the roles and responsibilities of a project manager, as well as the stages of project management.
